Introduction: The Universal Truth of God's Ownership My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, There is a quiet falsehood that creeps into human hearts very early in life. As children, one of the first words we learn to shout with great conviction is "Mine!" We grab a toy and hold it tight. As adults, we simply use bigger words, but the attitude often remains the same: my career, my money, my time, my house, my life. Yet the whole of Sacred Scripture gently but firmly dismantles this illusion. Psalm 24 proclaims: The earth is the Lord's and all it contains, the world and those who dwell in it. We do not own a single breath we take. We do not own the heartbeat in our chest, the soil beneath our feet, or the family members given to us....

Heavenly Companions on Our Earthly Pilgrimage Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, today we celebrate the Feast of the Guardian Angels, a beautiful reminder of God’s personal love, protection, and constant presence in our daily lives. As Holy Mother Church teaches, angels are spiritual beings created by God to serve Him and to assist us, the "heirs of salvation". The very word angel comes from the Greek aggelos and the Hebrew mal'akh, meaning "messenger". God sends these heavenly messengers not as distant observers, but as companions appointed to each of us from the moment of our birth to enlighten, protect, guide, and pray for our souls. Scripture reassures us of this divine care in the Psalms: "To his angels he has given charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. Upon their hands they shall bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone". Jesus Himself affirms the dignity and value of every human soul when He says, "See that you do n...
