 புனிதர் அனைவரின் பெருவிழா: விண்ணரசு நமக்குரியது!

(All Saints' Day: The Kingdom of Heaven Belongs to Us!)

இன்றைய திருநாள், "புனிதர் அனைவரின் பெருவிழா," ஒரு மகத்தான உண்மையை நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது: புனிதர்கள் என்பவர்கள் கல்லறைகளில் உறங்கும் பெயர்கள் மட்டுமல்ல, அவர்களே வெற்றியடைந்த, நம்மைக் காட்டிலும் சற்று முந்திச் சென்ற நம்முடைய சகோதர சகோதரிகள்!

திருத்தூதர் யோவான் கண்ட காட்சியில் (திருவெளிப்பாடு 7: 9), யாராலும் எண்ண முடியாதபடி, எல்லா நாட்டையும், குலத்தையும், மொழியையும் சார்ந்த பெருந்திரளான மக்கள் அரியணைக்கும் ஆட்டுக்குட்டிக்கும் முன்பாக நின்றுகொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். இவர்கள் அனைவரும் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியின் இரத்தத்தில் தங்கள் ஆடைகளை வெண்மையாக்கிக் கொண்டவர்கள். இது, இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் பாடுகளின் வழியாகவும், நம்முடைய விசுவாசத்தின் வழியாகவும் மட்டுமே நாம் புனிதமடைய முடியும் என்பதைக் காட்டுகிறது.

இரண்டாம் வாசகம் (1 யோவான் 3: 1-3) நாம் இப்போதே கடவுளின் பிள்ளைகள் என்ற ஆச்சரியமான உண்மையை வலியுறுத்துகிறது. நாம் எப்படி இருப்போம் என்பது இன்னும் முழுமையாக வெளிப்படவில்லை என்றாலும், அவர் தோன்றும்போது நாம் அவரைப் போல் இருப்போம் என்ற நம்பிக்கை நம்மைத் தூண்டுகிறது. இந்த நம்பிக்கையே நாம் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் தூய்மையைத் தேட வேண்டியதற்குக் காரணம்.

நற்செய்தியில், இயேசுவின் "பேறுபெற்றோர்" போதனைகள் (மத் 5: 1-12a) புனிதத்தின் பாதையைத் தெளிவாகப் படம்பிடித்துக் காட்டுகின்றன:

 * எளிய உள்ளம் (Poor in Spirit): விண்ணரசின் முதல் திறவுகோல், தன்னடக்கமும், கடவுள் மீதான முழுமையான நம்பிக்கையும்.

 * இரக்கம் (Merciful): பிறருக்கு இரங்குபவர்களுக்கே இரக்கம் கிடைக்கும் என்ற நிபந்தனை.

 * தூய்மையான உள்ளம் (Pure in Heart): தூய உள்ளம் உள்ளவர்களே கடவுளைக் காண முடியும்.

 * நீதியின் பொருட்டுத் துன்புறுதல் (Persecuted for Righteousness): உலகின் வெறுப்பைப் பெற்றாலும், விண்ணரசு நமக்காகக் காத்திருக்கிறது.

ஆகவே, புனிதர் அனைவரின் பெருவிழாவை நாம் கொண்டாடும் இந்த வேளையில், நம்முடைய அன்றாட வாழ்வில் எளிமை, இரக்கம் மற்றும் தூய்மை ஆகியவற்றைக் கடைப்பிடித்து, புனிதர்கள் காட்டிய பாதையைப் பின்பற்றுவோம். "விண்ணுலகில் உங்களுக்குக் கிடைக்கும் கைம்மாறு மிகுதியாகும்" என்ற ஆண்டவரின் வாக்குறுதி நமக்கு நிச்சயம்!

🌟 All Saints' Day: The Kingdom of Heaven Belongs to Us!

Today, on All Saints' Day, we celebrate a profound truth: the Saints are not just names resting in crypts; they are our victorious brothers and sisters who have simply gone ahead of us.

John the Apostle’s vision (Revelation 7: 9) shows us a great multitude, which no one could number, from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and the Lamb. They are the ones who have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. This underscores that our sanctification comes solely through the Passion of Jesus Christ and our faith in Him.

The Second Reading (1 John 3: 1-3) insists on the astonishing reality that we are God’s children now. While our full glory hasn't been revealed, the hope that when He appears, we shall be like Him is a powerful motivator. This hope is why we must strive for purity every day.

In the Gospel, Jesus’ Beatitudes (Matthew 5: 1-12a) perfectly map out the road to Sainthood:

 * Poverty in Spirit: The first key to the Kingdom is humility and total reliance on God.

 * Mercy: The condition is clear—those who show mercy will receive it.

 * Purity in Heart: Only those with a clean heart will be able to see God.

 * Persecution for Righteousness: Though the world may revile us, our reward is great in heaven.

As we celebrate the feast of All Saints, let us commit to following the path they illuminated, incorporating humility, mercy, and purity into our daily lives. The Lord's promise to us is certain: "Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven!"
